Stanford Grokker
Stanford Grokker is the result of an innovative partnership between
Stanford University Libraries
and Academic Information Resources (SULAIR) and Grokker.
Grokker is a research and information management tool that simultaneously
searches many data sources, and presents results in a topically
organized, visual map.
Grokker is the flagship product of Groxis, Inc.; a privately held
company backed by leading investors, founded in 2001.
Please note: The desktop version of Stanford Grokker is no longer
being supported, and is not available for download. In March of
2009, Groxis ceased operations. For more information, please see
Groxis CEO Randy Marcinfo’s comment about the financial
situation of Groxis on Steve Arnold’s Beyond
Search Web log.
