About the Stanford Auxiliary Libraries
The Stanford Auxiliary Libraries are utilizied by the SULAIR library
system and associated coordinate libraries for the storage of
low-use or overflow materials.
All three facilities offer a paging service to deliver materials
to campus. Only the Stanford Auxiliary Library [SAL 1&2] in on-campus and offers in-house browsing and circulation
to patrons. For details on the services offered in each facility,
please click on the appropriate facility link.
Location
Stanford Auxiliary Library [SAL 1&2] is located on the Stanford campus.
Off-campus [SAL3] is a remote storage facility located in Livermore, California.
Off-campus [Newark] is a remote storage facility located in Newark,
California.
