This multimedia, interactive website showcases more than 160 works from the Latin American art collection of the Fundación Cisneros (Cisneros Foundation), a Caracas-based philanthropic organization. The core strength of the collection lies in abstract art produced in Venezuela, Brazil, Uruguay, and Argentina from the 1930s to the 1960s, yet the collection also includes objects of Colonial Latin American art, international decorative art, and nineteenth-century Latin American landscapes executed in the traveler-reporter tradition. |
