All journals received in Branner, both current and historic, are listed in Socrates as well as in the blue binders in the library. Direct your browser to Electronic Journals to find which journals are available electronically to Stanford users, and to specify Earth Science journals, select Earth Sciences in the Subject Browse box. The most recent issues of the more heavily used journals are arranged in call number order in the Journal Display area of the library. Bound volumes of journals as well as the current issues of other journals are shelved in call number order in Branner Library.

Note that most electronic-access titles are restricted by licensing or purchasing agreements to Stanford affiliates only; you must be currently authorized via a SUNet connection to access restricted titles. All journal issue and volumes held in Branner library may be checked out. Unbound journals have a 3-day loan period and are not renewable. Bound journals have a 4-day loan period and may be renewed once. Fines for any overdue journals are $1.50 per day.
