SULAIR Communications
Our Mission
The mission of the SULAIR Communications Group is to ensure
that members of the SULAIR organization, the Stanford community, and the
broader public are well-informed about SULAIR resources, services, and ongoing
initiatives.
In accomplishing this mission, the SULAIR Communications Group
is responsible for:
- Providing managerial oversight of the SULAIR web site and maintaining many top level pages of the site, including the home page.
- Publishing the Brief
Guide to SULAIR,
Speaking of Computers, SULAIR
News and other publications as needed.
- Maintaining a News & Events web site
for SULAIR.
- Designing and managing publicity to create awareness of ongoing
SULAIR initiatives, with a special focus on digital initiatives and technology.
- Providing publishing and editorial support to other SULAIR publications
and web sites.
- Ensuring that SULAIR is appropriately represented in Stanford-wide
publications and web sites, including the Stanford web
site, the Computing
and Communications web site,
the Stanford Bulletin, and Approaching Stanford.
- Developing and coordinating a patron assessment program, to include
administering, analyzing, and publishing regular patron surveys.
- Working with appropriate organizations across campus (e.g., ITSS,
University Communications)
to facilitate the dissemination of information and publicity about SULAIR
facilities and services.
