Hoover/SUL Realignment: Timetable for transition
Hoover General Collection
|December 2000||Submit proposal to Provost; introduce proposal to C-Lib|
|January 2001||Consult with Stanford faculty|
|December 2000 & January 2001||Meet with Hoover staff|
|February 2001||Ratification of proposal by Provost|
|March 2001||Final discussion on actual people designated to be moved from Hoover.|
|March - May 2001||Determine redistribution of responsibility for collections and for technical services aspects within SUL.|
|September 2001 - August 2002||Selection of materials from the Tower by Hoover curators in consultation with SUL curators.|
|September 2001*||All Hoover staff to be transferred moves to SUL quarters, except for those involved in circulation and stack maintenance, who will move as parts of the collection are moved.
The agreed-upon amount from the Hoover budget transferred to SUL budget.
Selection, acquisition, processing and circulation of new materials begin under the direction of the pertinent SUL managers.
