1. The Columbia Gazetteer of the World Online Now Available on a Preview Basis

The Columbia Gazetteer of the World Online is now available on a free preview basis until April 1st. The online version allows three searching options. You can search by place name (Jamestown), by word (borough), or by type of place (Which cities in South America have more than four million people? What rivers in North America are over 1,000 miles long?).

The URL for the Columbia Gazetteer of the World Online is:

The User name is "gazetteer"; the password is "preview".
