The Green East redesign project should be completed before the beginning of Fall Quarter and in time for the formal reopening of Green Library West in mid-October.

3. DROP-IN LAB AVAILABLE FOR ONLINE COMPUTER COURSES

The ITSS Instructional Program's pilot Computer-Based Training (CBT) drop-in lab at the Wilbur Instructional Lab (WIL) facility will provide a learning environment away from your office, from June 24 through September 23.

A lab of 18 Windows machines will be available for taking the computer training courses located at http://cbt.stanford.edu/. Windows computer users, here's your chance to work in a quiet, supportive environment...away from busy desks, ringing phones, and multiple interruptions. Mac users, here's your chance to try the CBT courses covering office applications, the Web, and much more. (Go to http://cbt.stanford.edu/ for a complete list of available courses.)

Between June 24 and September 23, the lab will be open every Thursday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. It's located in Wilbur Module B (the middle building in the Wilbur parking lot), 684 Escondido Road, at Campus Drive East. There is no registration and no charge.

This is a great opportunity to take one or more of the 250+ CBT courses. For more information, please call John Baltierra at the WIL facility, 723-1896.
