We have set up a new pathway that will allow users of EndNote bibliographic software to connect directly to the OCLC versions of ERIC and PsychInfo. Now is the time to remind employees in your area to be sure their "W-2 Address" is correct in the online Faculty/Staff Directory; Payroll & Records will be mailing W-2 forms in January.

The employee can update their address in Stanford.You by accessing the website https://stanfordyou.stanford.edu.

Payroll/Personnel administrators can view or change Directory and W-2 addresses of employees whose records they have access to, by typing, from the Forsythe computer, PRISM SEL CHRIS PEOPLE//ENT DIR and then following the instructions.

Janet Sakai was appointed to the position of Curatorial Assistant with the Department of Special Collecitons effective October 22, 2001. Janet comes to Special Collections from SUL's Acquisitions Department and with over eight years of library experience. In Special Collections Janet will work in three major areas: copy cataloging, bibliographic research in support of the book collection development program, and serve as the administrative associate for the Department. Janet received a degree in library technology from Foothill College in Los Altos Hills in 1998 and actually took her copy cataloging class at Foothill from Barry Hinman, the rare book cataloguer for Special Collections at Stanford. Please join me in welcoming Janet to the staff of Special Collections.

Please join me in welcoming Cassandra (Casey) Rosen, the new Residential Computing Program and Operations Coordinator. Casey has been on a temporary assignment since April as Program Coordinator for Academic Computing's Business Development team, and she was instrumental in helping AComp and ResComp host the ResNet 2001 Symposium this past June. Casey holds a BFA in Photography from Syracuse University and previously worked at the Images of Nature Gallery, the Palo Alto Medical Foundation, and the Ansel Adams Friends of Photography Art Gallery. Her office will be located with ResComp in the Meyer 240 area and is temporarily in Meyer 260.
