Data Description

The ArcScene World Tour CD contains fourteen SPOT satellite images of  places around the world, ArcView Data Publisher software, interactive text, and annotated views of the images. In addition, five different examples of real-world satellite imagery applications are illustrated with the tour's images. You 'll also enjoy reading the sections describing the SPOT satellite and general remote sensing and scene interpretation concepts. As you examine the images, you can zoom in and out, measure distances, and change the color settings for image display. Special buttons make it easy to maximize, minimize, or close an image view, or return a view to its original extent. The tour's menus allow you to turn on or off image annotations.
