The ArcUSA data contain geographic
and attribute data for the coterminous United States at two scales:
1:2,000,000 and 1:25,000,000. The data was created by Environmental
Systems Research Institute (ESRI) to facilitate thematic mapping
of the entire U.S. and of individual states. The geographic data
contains:
- States
- Counties
- Federal lands
- Water
- Place Names
- Transportation
- USGS Quadrangle Names
Tabular data describing are also
included:
- Population
- Agriculture
- Demographics
- Socioeconomics
The data are in ARC/INFO coverage
format and can be used in ARC/INFO and ArcView.
