Spatial Analyst Sample Data

This directory contains sample data sets for Africa, Asia, Europe, and North America.  In each of the subdirectories is a 1 kilometer resolution digital elevation model (DEM) and corresponding shaded relief grid for the continent.

The eurasia directory also contains a 5 kilometer resolution dataset of
population density for most of Asia.

The north_am directory also contains a 1 kilometer resolution land cover map or North America derived from AVHRR satellite image composites.  There are also shape files of major drainage basins and stream networks for North America that were derived from the dem data provided.

This CD-ROM is part of the ESRI Site-License and may be borrowed from Branner Library.
