Microfilm collection of broadsides, newspapers, pamphlets,
and periodicals published in Great Britain. Collection includes
some 500 titles, dating from the beginning of the 18th century
to the early 19th century, as well as an array of 17th century
corantos, diurnals, and newsbooks. Includes both London titles
and "provincial" titles from outlying parts of Britain
and colonial possessions.

Contains 341 titles published in Great Britain during
the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries. Although predominantly
literary in nature, the collection encompasses a wide variety
of subject matters and is a resource for a wealth of cultural
information. Almost all the important writers of the period
are listed as contributors, including Defoe, Addison, Steele,
Swift, Fielding, Johnson, Burke, Smollett, Coleridge, George
Eliot, Dickens, Thackeray, and Rossetti.
