in the catalog at the Institut de l'Information Scientifique
et Technique.
- Arts and Humanities
Citation Index
Dating back to 1975, this index is based on citations from a wide
variety of journals covering French and Italian studies, including
a large number published outside of the United States. It fully
indexes over a thousand journals in the humanities and selectively
indexes close to 7,000 other journals in related fields. Available
through Web of Science, restricted to Stanford use.

by the INIST (Institut de
l’Information
Scientifique et Technique), it is available through the Web
(through Stanford’s Eureka connection, restricted to Stanford).
- Iter: Gateway to the
Middle Ages and Renaissance.
- Maison des Sciences de l'Homme.
This database contains citations for articles, monographs, proceedings/book
chapters, dissertations. Many are European, but not all. Coverage
goes back to the early 1990s.
- Medica@.
This site contains several hundred digitalized medical works,
including several editions of the Hippocratic corpus, early editions
of Galen, 19th-century medical theses by famous doctors, and
a smaller number of classic monographs and treatises, mostly
dating from the 19th century.
