Online Resources

French Studies Italian Studies
Francophone Studies Interdisciplinary Sites

Thanks go to all those individuals and institutions who have gathered material in these fields, since much of what is presented here is taken from other French and Italian sites. Special recognition goes to the compilers of resource pages for the Western European Specialists Section (WESS) of the Association of College and Research Libraries.

The Web links listed in this section are only selected examples, many included for their relevance to Stanford programs. Use of the large sites in the general categories will allow further exploration of available resources. Also note that for a wider survey of available information in French and Italian studies, the section labeled Interdisciplinary Sites should also be consulted.

Online journals in French and Italian studies
While the Stanford Libraries page provides access to a growing number of electronic journals, there are also separately listed journals in SOCRATES, such as La Lettre Clandestine, and the Revue Montesquieu.
In addition, individual Web sites often provide access to journals in specialized areas, such as historical or Francophone studies, e.g. Jouvert, those found within Revues.org (AHRF: Annales historiques de la Révolution française, Cahiers d'histoire, Revue des Mondes Musulmans et
Méditerranée
, Genèse, Revue d’histoire du XIXe siècle, and Ruralia).
