- The largest collection of German literature on the
Internet. Texts are organized for reading online with
longer works divided into chapters. The entire database
can be searched for words and phrases, but a search
cannot be limited to a single work or author.

- Collection of German-speaking poets gathered together in
a sound archive. Each poet is represented by several
poems, with audio recordings as well as portraits and
bibliographies.

- Varied collection, part of the Bibliotheca
Augustana. Strongest for medieval texts, but also
includes 18th and 19th century works
- Sophie:
A Digital Library of Early German Women's Writing
- A large, ongoing project to digitize about 245 works by
German-language women writing between 1740 and 1923.

- Growing selection of short narrative works in German from
the late 18th to the end of the 19th centuries, featuring
verified texts from documented editions and, whenever
