The Stanford University Libraries' Digital Delivery of
Interlibrary Loan (dd-ILL) service is a pilot
project generously supported by the California
State Library by a grant offered under the Library
Services and Technology Act. dd-ILL is a cooperative
effort of the Stanford University Libraries' Interlibrary Services Department
and the Humanities Digital Information Service.
Book and CD-ROM Collections
HDIS hosts a small, non-circulating collection of books
and CD-ROMs called "Digital Culture and Humanities Computing."
These are located in the east end of the Lane Room of
Green Library.
Text Analysis and SGML Programs
Also at the east end of the Lane Room, in addition to publicly
accessible computers with more standard configurations,
HDIS sponsors a small number of high-powered machines with
specialized software to use for text analysis, concordancing,
and other applications for computing humanists. The suite
of software is expanding, so check back frequently for current
offerings.
