Everything was going well until the real mafia boss escaped and suddenly Mr. Goodday's life was in danger, but the police still needed his help. In the end, both were caught, but suddenly now there was a large mix-up to sort out.

    Abstract: The film evokes the history of the 6 million men and women who, between 1830 and 1930, abandoned Europe to settle in Latin America. Through their letters, narratives, writings and documents, the filmmakers have created three purely fictional characters, the Frenchman, Ulysses; the Italian, Petro; and the Spaniard, Pilar. To illustrate their respective histories, the filmmakers use documents of diverse origins, recordings, photographs, archival film, together with fragments of feature films set in the different eras.

Barrantes is Personnel Manager at the factory where Ojeda used to work. Manuel meets old friends and workmates who make him see the mistake he is about to make.

Meanwhile, money and love letters are hidden in an effort to avoid police detection. Unfortunately, there is much more death before anything can be solved by the police. Even when cautioned, Pedro takes matters into his own hands.

In her will, Ángela makes plans for the future. Mónica decides to show the letter to Lorenzo and to visit the policeman who handled the now dubious suicide case, and who confirms the events to her. Nevertheless, after some probing, Mónica finds new trails which lead her to discover the truth.
