Abya Yala Net - This site presents information on Indigenous peoples in Mexico, Central, and South America. It hosts web sites of native peoples around the world and offers resources for law and legal issues, books,and music.

Amazon Alliance for Indigenous and Traditional Peoples of the Amazon Basin - an alliance between indigenous and traditional peoples of the Amazon and 80 organizations who share their concerns.

Amazon Watch - Amazon Watch works with indigenous and environmental organizations in the Amazon Basin to defend the environment and advance indigenous peoples' rights in the face of large-scale industrial development-oil & gas pipelines, power lines, roads, and other mega-projects.

LANIC, Indigenous Peoples of Latin America An excellent resource from the University of Texas Latin American Network Information Center that includes regional and country links.

Plaza del Sol - Plaza del Sol is a resource directory of indigenous people and cultures of the Americas. It promotes the continuation and preservation of indigenous cultures and their business endeavors.

Asia Pacific

Centre on Integrated Rural Development for Asia and the Pacific (CIRDAP) - The vision of CIRDAP relates to an improved quality of life for the rural people of the Asia-Pacific region, with a particular focus on the poor and the disadvantaged groups. Areas of interest include natural resource management, recycling of organic waste, and sustainable development. CIRDAP has also set up a Rural Development Communications Network on its Web site.
