Biblioth?que pour le dˇveloppement - This digital library was created in 1999 by the Humanity Libraries Project and the Payson Center for International Development at Tulane University. It contains over 600 publications in the fields of Agriculture, Construction, Cooperation, Economics, Education, Energy, Environment, Industry, Nutrition, Society, Science, Technology, Water and Women.

EPA, Online Library System - The National Library Network of the Environmental Protection Agency consists of 28 libraries whose collections and other special collections can be searched at this site. Although a national library that focuses on the U.S.,  it contains information that is international in scope. Instructions on how to obtain copies of documents is provided.

National Council for Science & the Environment, National Library for the Environment - NCSE works to improve the scientific basis for environmental decision making. It educates society about the importance of comprehensive scientific programs that integrate cross-cutting research with knowledge assessments, education, information dissemination, and training. The library includes journals, briefing books on countries and environmental topics, job listings, information on grants, events, and news.

National Library for the Environment - An excellent resource for Congressional Research Service reports in full text on a broad range of  topics. Organized by topics. Abstracts are searchable by keyword.

World Environment Library - The Library was created in 1999 by GTZ and the University of New Zealand's Humanity Libraries Project. It contains publications in the fields of agriculture, biodiversity, climate change, environmental impact assessment, energy, health, natural resources, policy, sustainable development, waste management and water.

WWW Virtual Library - Environment - See the extensive List O' Lists which contains environmental directories on a wide array of topics from Web sites on several continents.
