Computers

Five kiosk machines are available for public use to access online library resources. A copy card or StanfordCard Plan account is required for printing from the networked printer. Each page costs $0.10 for black & white, $1.00 for color. No computers are available for word processing or other applications.

Copy Machines

There is one self-service photocopier that ONLY accepts copy cards and Stanford IDs with money in a StanfordCard Plan account. Copy cards (with no value on the card) can be purchased in the Photocopy Room from a Cash-to-Card dispenser with a $1.00 bill and value added by $1, $5, $10, or $20 bills. Each copy is $0.13. The machine does not accept cash.

A microfiche/microfilm printer is available. A copy card is required for printing; the machine does not accept cash.

When operating the copy machine, copy card dispenser, kiosk or microform printers, be aware that the library does NOT provide change. Therefore, come prepared. The Konica photocopier is owned and maintained by an outside vendor, and questions regarding these machines should be directed to them at (650) 725-1036. Scanners

There is a flatbed scanner available for use by those with current SUNet IDs.

Video Machines

Two videocassette players for viewing videotapes.

Facilities

The drinking fountain and restrooms are located in the hall outside the library. The Women's Restroom is located next to the library entrance. The Men's Restroom is located to your right as you exit the elevator.

Telephones

A pay phone is located in the courtyard on the basement level of the building. A campus phone is located outside Jordan Hall (Bldg. 420).
