About Media Microtext Center

The center houses Green Library's audio-visual media and microtext collections, as well as Media Courses Reserves and media borrowed from other institutions (by Green Library's interlibrary borrowing service):

• Microtext materials are open-access. (Some are stored in the staff area, though, and must be requested from staff.)
• Audio-visual media are paged-only. (All materials must be requested from staff.) These include all DVD, CD, VHS and Laserdisc items.

Please note: only Stanford University-affiliated users (bearing a current, Stanford-issued ID card), may borrow audio-visual materials.

The Media-Microtext Center is open daily; closed Sundays during Intercession.

NOTE: The circulation desk closes 5 minutes before the hour.  At that time the doors are closed; no new patrons are admitted. Staff serve any remaining patrons, shut down the machines, and clear the center.
