Abstract: 1. The distribution of Cirriformia spirabrancha with respect to various environmental factors was studied ind etail at Elkhorn Slough, Monterey Bay, California. 2. Winter storms and strong wave action are not primary factors in limiting the distribution of C. spirabrancha at Elkhorn Slough as they are for C. tentaculata at Hamble, England. 3. Salinity, pH, and temperature do not seem to appreciably affect the distribution of C. spirabrancha at Elkhorn Slough.
