Title: Environmental factors affecting the patterns of activity in the marine isopod Cirolana harfordi

Abstract: C. harfordi shows definite nocturnal activity patterns. Of the four environmental factors examined, light and water depth affect the animals' level of activity. Light is the most important of the two; only in the absence of this factor does water depth appear to influence the activity of the animal.
