[Publisher's sale catalogues]
A collection of ninety separate auction catalogues of English
music publisher's stock, including engraved plates, copyright,
and in some cases instruments, to be sold by Musgrave, Puttick
& Simpson and others, between 1824 and 1921. All are from the
archives of Novello & Co. and give intrinsic evidence of the development
of the most important English publishing houses.
