Reference & tours

The Reference Desk is staffed during the academic year Monday through Friday, 1 – 4 pm; during the Summer, 2 – 4 pm. Librarians are available to assist you during business hours when the desk is closed. About the Music Library lists Music Library hours including adjusted hours for holidays and intersessions.

An introduction to the Archive of Recorded Sound may be arranged by contacting the Archive (soundarchive@stanford.edu; 650-723-9312).

Instruction for individuals and groups in the use of specific library resources including the online catalog can be arranged by contacting the Reference Desk.
