Mel Lane Collection of Sunset Press Books

From the Editors of Sunset Books and Sunset Magazine

A collection of books published by Lane Publishing Company, Menlo Park, California. Many of these books are reprints from the 1980s and 1990s of books published earlier, some as early as the 1950s. The collection represents the general theme of Sunset Publishing: that of fine living in California from a do-it-yourself perspective in cooking, home repair and remodelling, home interior and exterior design, garden design, plant knowledge and care, and other aspects that would enhace a lifestyle by taking advantage of the environment and natural bounty in California. Also included are books on travel and language acquisition for exploration inside and outside the California.
