Fiesole

Cathedral of S.Romolo (Piazza Mino da Fiesole, Fiesole). Work on the Romanesque cathedral was begun in 1028. The campanile was added in 1213. The most recent restorations were made over the years 1878-1883. Photographs unless otherwise credited are by Michael Keller. Romanesque architectural elements have inspired design features in the rebuilding of Green Library's West Wing.
