UnCover Web Site
UnCover, available via Folio, is an interdisciplinary table of contents databse
and a keyword index to nearly 17,000 English-language periodicals. Information is
entered one day after an issue is received so it's the most up-to-date source for
many titles. UnCover is now searchable on a WWW site with no ID or account number
required. The URL is:

Stanford users can enter an "UnCover Reveal Profile" to subscribe to
UnCover's current awareness service. This service provides tables of contents of
selected peridicals via email as those periodicals are received. You can also set
up a search strategy, such as an author's name and topic, to be searched weekly.
(Note: no subject headings or abstracts are in UnCover so only title words are
searched. Also, UnCover indexes only the first three authors of an article.)
