All computers in Swain other than the three Public Kiosks require a SUNet ID for
login.
Immediately to your left inside the main door is a small room equipped with five PCs and
one black and white and one color printer.
There are eight other PCs available, one is in the
reference room
and seven at the end of the main hall and alcove area. A
scanner
is attached to the former; instructions for using the scanner are in the blue binder.
These computer areas are not
computer clusters.
Users who need to use
software
loaded on these machines or who are doing library research have priority over users who are
reading e-mail.
