Swain Library has two digital photocopiers located in the
Book Stacks,
the first room on the right side of the main hall.
The machines only accept SUL copy cards. Patrons with Stanford
ID cards can add money directly to their cards at the DART machine. Visitors can
buy a copy card
at the DART machine with a one-dollar bill and then deposit money onto the card. The DART machine
will even print a receipt.
The library cannot make change!
Department copy codes do not work in the Swain photocopiers. Patrons with
SUNet IDs
may check out journals for two hours in order to photocopy them at their department. Also, many
lab groups purchase library copy cards
for their researchers’ use.
