Structure searching in CAS Online using STN Express: An introductory workshop

Overview of structure searching

1. Build structure using STN Express.
2. Save and verify structure.
3. Leave structure drawing part of STN Express.
4. Logon to STN and enter Registry File.
5. Upload structure and display to make sure it uploaded correctly.
6. Perform sample search and review results.
7. Using projections given in sample search results, either logoff and modify query, or perform full file search.
8. Enter CA File to find references published on substances.
9. Display results and logoff from STN.
10. Browse, edit, or print search results.
11. Exit from STN Express.
