Circulation Policies

Circulation is available only to other users who have a valid Stanford borrower's ID and to users with a University of California Library Reciprocal Services Card. Contact the Privileges Desk at Green Library (650) 723-1492 for information on obtaining a valid borrower's card.

Circulation period

Course Reserves : 2 hours
Books, Theses : 28 days
Journals : 1 week
Reference : Do not circulate

Some reserve items circulate overnight after 4pm, Monday-Thursday, and after 3pm on Friday.

Books are subject to RECALL for reserve use. RENEWAL of loans is permitted unless another user is waiting, and can be done over the web.
