    Stanford University Libraries Redesign Report

    Conclusion

As the SUL community discussion of the Redesign Team report concludes at the end of February, a plan for the implementation will be crafted based, in part, on feedback during that discussion. It is likely that a variety of staff implementation teams will be charged to devise the dramatically new processing environment that will insure the continued success of our mission to provide materials and access to them for patrons.

In closing, the Redesign Team thanks everyone who supplied explanations, reports, statistics, and encouragement throughout the course of this study. At every turn, we encountered staff with keen intelligence, eager interest, and devoted commitment to the products of the University Libraries. The combination of this outstanding staff and of the well-considered outcome of the community discussion encourages us to predict a successful implementation.
