    Metadata Workflow:
    Non-Musical Sound Recordings

    1. Receivers receive material, inserting any appropriate flags and writing Symphony ID on routing flag.
    2. All materials are batched and brought to third floor and put on desktop of the LS4 assigned to media materials.
    3. Materials are searched and cataloged by the Media cataloger:
    4. Finished materials are given a flag with the call number or a printout of the bib screen and hand carried to Binding and Finishing for end processing. For all notifies, a printout of the bib screen must accompany the item. For ARS materials, call Nancy Lorimer at the Music Library, do not send to end processing. Materials for Special Collections should be placed in the locked closet in the selectors' room.
