Some Vacation Email and Voice-Mail Tips

    • To set up a Vacation Email message that lets others know you are away, go to http://stanfordyou.stanford.edu
    • Your Vacation message should include the dates you are away, as well as the name and full contact information of the person to be contacted in your absence.
    • Consider unsubscribing from email lists while you are away to cut down on the volume of email you will face upon your return.
    • You can also change your Voicemail outgoing message to indicate the dates you are away, as well as the name and full contact information of the person to be contacted in your absence.
