Introduction
The Gift and Exchange Section is a unit of the Acquisitions Department.
The section manages the general Exchange Program and the Gifts Program
for the Stanford University Libraries. The Exchange area manages
about 3,000 exchanges with partners from around the world. The Gift
area receives, acknowledges, and sends for evaluation approximately
3,500 gift items each year.
