Keep in mind that very few articles are cited on a weekly basis. Expect zero results most weeks for cited alerts.

In the general alert, you can search for authors, words in titles and abstracts, journals, or institutions.

For automatic alerts, select Run alert weekly.

Select a mode of delivery-notification only, citation only, or citation and abstract.

Select a maximum number of citations to retrieve.

Enter an alert name.

Each week you will get an email message either telling you that your alert is ready or delivering citations.

To change or discontinue an alert, select Login, then select Alerts/saved searches. On the alerts page, you can run, edit, suspend, or delete existing alerts.

If you use a public or shared computer, select Logout when you are done.
