SciSearch Plus at LANL
Weekly Alerting Service

Introduction

SciSearch at LANL: http://search.lanl.gov

SciSearch at LANL Weekly Alerting Service is an automatic current awareness service.

Register for the service, then create a search strategy which will be matched automatically against each new weekly update.

Receive results of the alert via e-mail or simply receive an e-mail notification, then view the results by logging into an individual account.

There are two types of weekly alerts:

General Alert - Search on authors, titles, abstracts, keywords, sources, institutions, etc.

Cited Alert - Search on a specific paper or author to see who has cited that paper or author.

Creating an alert is a two-step process.

First, create a user name and password.

Second, enter a search profile and save it as an alert.
