General Search in Scisearch Plus
Displaying, Marking, and Printing Results

Displaying results

Results are displayed in a brief format showing authors, title, and source information.

The maximum number of records displayed is set in Records to display on the general search page.

To view one full record, select the Full record link.

To view several selected records, use the procedure for marking records outlined below.

Marking the same record repeatedly will not result in duplicate items.


Printing results

To print selected records, first mark records as outlined above.

To print, use the print feature of your browser.


Emailing results

To email selected records, first mark records as outlined above.

Select E-mail or use the email feature of your browser. Enter an email address.


Downloading results to a file management program (EndNote, Pro-Cite, Reference Manager, etc.)

To download selected records, first mark records as outlined above. Choose a level of detail. Select Tagged and View in browser.

If your file management program supports direct dowload, select Export.

Select Submit.

If you displayed records in your browser, copy and paste displayed tagged records or save displayed records to a file. Use the Back button to exit the marked record display.
