Encyclopedia of Bioethics (Green Library Information Center QH332.E52
1995) a great place to start your research — includes detailed articles, selected
lists of sources, good cross-references to related terms, and a separate subject
index.
The Concise Encyclopedia of the Ethics of New Technologies (Green Library
Information Center QH332 .C66 2001)
Encyclopedia of Ethics in Science and Technology. Facts on File (Green
Library Information Center Q175.35 .B37 2002)
A Companion to Bioethics, 1998 (Green Library Information Center
B72.B565 1991 v. 15) Designed as a guide to students of philosophy, this work
provides essays on many aspects of bioethics with suggestions for further reading.
A Companion to Genethics, 2002 (Green Library Information Center B72
.B565 1991 V.21)
Encyclopedia of Applied Ethics (Green Library Information Center BJ63.E53 1998) Provides long essays on a wide variety of topics from abortion, biotechnology, and euthanasia to fetal research and genetic engineering. Each essays includes a bibliography.
The Moral Imagination: Confronting the Ethical Issues of Our
Day (Green Library Information Center BJ1031.T57 1995) Though not an
encyclopedia, this book tries "to collect the best arguments on all
sides of the debates over abortion , suicide, euthanasia, capital
punishment, and racial justice."
Encyclopedia of Ethics (Green Library Information Center BJ63.E45
2001) in two volumes, includes long overview articles, annotated bibliographies,
and a subject thesaurus.
Animal Rights: A Reference Handbook (Green Library Information
Center HV4764.S5 1994) gives an overview of various issues connected to animal
rights, plus a selective bibliography of other resources.

Alternative
Press Index (1991+ available on the Web; 1969-71; 1974+ shelved at

social change, including some gay/lesbian periodicals.

fulltext of "a collection of newspapers, magazines and journals of the
alternative and independent press." 
ATLA Religion Database (1949+) includes
some fulltext (ATLAS)
