Stanford Users
Use of the Stanford University Libraries
Stanford and cooperative program users are responsible for complying
with all Stanford University Libraries’ regulations, and for
all fines, fees and losses incurred. The Libraries
reserve the right to deny use to individuals who
abuse library privileges or in any way infringe on the priority
rights of Stanford faculty, staff, or students. Library privileges
may be revoked at any time.

Stanford University Libraries is available to:
Coordinate Libraries have their own access policies -
Jonsson Library of Government Documents -
The Jonsson Library is a depository
for the publications of a number of government agencies and is thus
open to the public. Its collections are housed in the Green Library's
Bing Wing. Reference assistance is available at Green's Information
Center Desk.
Special Collections is open to researchers -
Due to the rare and
unique nature of the materials stored in Special Collections, researchers
are not allowed to browse the Department's stacks.
However, patrons
are welcome to request that materials be brought to the Department's
reading room for their use on the second floor of Green Library's
Bing Wing, Rm. 200. Paging slips for requested items must be turned
in by 5 p.m. for a return time of 11:30 a.m. the following morning
or by 12 noon for a return time of 4 p.m. of the same day.
To request an item, patrons must complete a paging slip in the
Special Collections reading room or send an email request to speccoll@stanford.edu.
