Discipline Specific Instruction

In each library unit, reference staff provides general advice on locating and using both print and electronic information resources. Subject specialists and reference librarians offer assistance in specific disciplines either individually or in groups, through requested lectures to classes, tours, demonstrations, or special workshops.

To arrange for this type of instruction contact the subject specific library's reference desk or consult the proper subject specialist.

If you want to arrange for non-discipline specific instruction on doing library research, including the use of electronic resources, or if you are uncertain as to who provides the type of instruction you seek, contact mschaefe@stanford.edu.
