As is often the case with web-related projects, this guide was
cobbled together from a number of sources, the source of many of which
have long since vanished into a haze of electronic vapour and dimming
memory. This is especially true of the graphics included here, all of
which were picked up on the Web at some time or other, and many of which
weren't signed. If you know the source of any unacknowledged image
presented here please get in touch with the author, who will try
hard to reach the artist.
Special thanks are due to:
- Earl Hood, whose excellent SGML tools made it possible to include
the hypertext Technical Reference Guide to the HTML Document Type
Definition. In addition to the wonderful software, his text formed
the core text of the Technical Reference Guide (and some portions of
HTML Basics as well.
- Sandra Nyberg and SOLINET for permission to use The Invasion
of the Giant Spore.
- Noel Giffin <noel@triumf.ca> whose Spanky Fractal
Database probably provided at least some of the images here.
